The Woke Coach: Conversations about Inclusion and Allyship

July 25, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm CDT

Free

All women are linked by their experiences of gender bias at work, as they face diverse, yet similar challenges in managing workplace politics, developing strategic alliances to break through the “good old boy” networks, and managing work life balance. Yet despite being in this together and all the talk about “women empowering women,” it can be hard to show up for each other as true authentic allies across race, gender identity, seniority, child status and more. Sometimes, you simply have no idea what to do or where to start. Let’s change that!

Join Seena Hodges of The Woke Coach and an esteemed panel for an engaging, in-depth conversation about allyship, privilege, and the importance of true inclusion! Let’s do our part together to help create a culture of shared understanding and accountability by engaging in meaningful conversations that build bridges.

Panelists:

Sarah Grap, Director of Public Relations at Mall of America

Ra’essa Motala, Corporate Solutions Broker at Lee & Associates

Anita Patel, Leadership Program Director Bush Foundation

Miquel Purvis McMoore, Managing Partner of kpCompanies
